Issue:
Installation/renewal on Windows Vista doesn't work.
Resolution:
Our Windows Vista support for F-Secure SAFE, F-Secure Internet Security and F-Secure Antivirus came to an end on 30th June 2017, after providing an extended period of support for the operating system. Microsoft will ended its support for Windows Vista in April 2017.
End of support means that if our home security product is installed on a Windows Vista operating system, we cannot guarantee the protection on that computer, as your computer will no longer receive the necessary security updates and may be more open to security vulnerabilities as a result.
To stay safe, we highly recommend that you upgrade your computer operating system to Windows versions that receive security updates from Microsoft. The most recent operating system version always provides the best protection technologies and is fully maintained by the vendor, receiving timely security updates and improvements.
