Issue:
Device is logged in to a wrong My F-Secure account, I want to transfer it over to the other account I have.
Resolution:
Note! This currently only works if both the old license on the old account and the new license on the new account are valid at the same time. If the old license has expired, or the new license is not yet active, this procedure does not work.
The procedure varies by device type, follow the steps:
Windows and Mac:
- Open F-Secure SAFE
- Click on your name at the top-right
- Click Log out
- On the log in screen, enter the correct email and password
- Click Log in
- Your SAFE is now activated with the correct account.
iOS:
- Open F-Secure SAFE application
- Go to settings
- Select Logout
- On the log in screen, enter the correct email and password
- Click Log in
- Your SAFE is now activated with the correct account
Android:
- Open F-Secure SAFE
- Go to settings
- Select My F-Secure account
- Click Log out the current user
- On the log in screen, enter the correct email and password
- Click Log in
- Your SAFE is now activated with the correct account
