Does disabling "Allow deeper analysis" in Security Cloud influences my protection level? - F-Secure Community
<main> <article class="userContent"> <h3 data-version="2" data-article="000022647" data-id="issue">Issue:</h3> <p>What happens to my protection level should I disable "Allow deeper analysis" in Security Cloud?</p> <h3 data-id="resolution">Resolution:</h3> <p>When you choose to disable the "Allow deeper analysis" in Security Cloud, this lowers down the protection level in a computer. This will disable the ORSP feature (Object Reputation Service Protocol). When a new object, such as a file or URL, is encountered on one client, the product communicates with the Security Cloud using the strongly encrypted Object Reputation Service Protocol (ORSP) to query for the object's reputation details. Anonymous metadata about the object, such as file size and anonymized path, are sent then to the Security Cloud. That is why F-Secure strongly recommends keeping the feature <br>"Allow deeper analysis" enabled in Security Cloud.<br> </p> <p>Article no: 000022647</p> </article> </main>
