How to transfer an F-Secure SAFE license from my old Mac or Windows PC computer to my new one?

Before you install F-Secure SAFE to a new computer, if you will no longer use the old one, it is best to release the SAFE license from the old computer so it can be used on the new one. Follow the steps below to release the license and install F-Secure SAFE on the new computer.

Part A: Release License

Log in to My F-Secure
On the My F-Secure page, click the device that you want to release a license from (This brings up a window with basic details about that device)
Click Release license (This frees up a license that you can now use on another device)

Part B: Add Device

Once logged into your My F-secure account, click +Add device
Choose My Device
Choose This computer
Click Download for Windows / Mac
Run the installation file and follow the on-screen instructions

Once the installation is complete, the F-Secure SAFE application will display "Your computer is protected".
