Issue:
After upgrade from F-Secure KEY to F-Secure ID PROTECTION, the KEY: User Data application is still visible on the Windows Apps and Features list. Will it be automatically updated to ID PROTECTION: User Data?
Resolution:
The F-Secure KEY: User Data found in the Windows Apps and Features application list is the actual password database. The passwords are stored separately, so that a user would not lose their passwords if F-Secure ID PROTECTION is uninstalled by mistake. After the upgrade from F-Secure KEY to ID PROTECTION, the name of the password database in the Windows Apps and features list will not get updated, it will still be called F-Secure KEY: User Data, but the application that accesses the password database is F-Secure ID PROTECTION. If you uninstall F-Secure KEY: User Data, it will remove all the password data of the current Windows user.
