Airplay disconnects randomly

Hi, I´m using f-secure freedome to stream videos from my iPad to my Apple Tv. When the VPN is active, the video that is streamed from safari, dissconnects randomly, usually every 2-5 minutes.

 

Is there a fix for streaming over the LAN network?

    Could you please let us know which version of Freedome and which OS version are you having?

    Ipad 3 - I´m using the latest version 9.3.5

    Freedome - 2.6.6.5240

    Hi toffe1,

     

    Could you turn on the Freedome Setting “Keep VPN on when device is idle” and see if that helps in this case.
    There is a previous post related to Airplay and Freedome here. In that thread, the issue was highlighted to the Freedome team. It seems likely to be an iOS issue as we are using the VPN functionality built into the iOS and this blocking might happen on the OS level.

    Hi toffe1,

     

    As mentioned in my previous post, the issue might probably be related on the OS level. It's unlikely we can do more about this.
