Which probably can be helpful and instructions with steps around this can be with current link:

-> Or current things already outdated? And here required another steps for USB-use around Rescue CD by F-Secure and definitions.
Also some days ago... F-Secure Rescue CD goes to be with little changes around versions (mostly... related with changes around colors/interface, but with my situtation... it also comes with strange behavior after use it. So be careful). And maybe here indeed required something new.

To complete Ukko reply, you will find all the instructions in the User's guide.
This includes how to create your rescue-CD on a USB-drive with the latest virus definitions on pages 3 and 4.
