Beta software update

I've been using F-Secure Internet Security 2014 Beta.
You released a new version of F-Secure Internet Security 2014 Beta today (ISTP 89).
I had to manually click update button in order to have access to this new release.
Question:

When there is a new build available, should I always have to click the update button manually or the software automatically will let me know there is a download available with an upgrade?

    It should tell you about upgrade. Maybe you had to wait some time
