Hi,

It would be amazing, if in F-Secure 2014 you'll make native 64-bit version.

Is this possible?

Best Regards.

AFAIK all of the processes that would benefit of this are already 64-bit.

Running certain interface processes etc in 64-bit would not be beneficial, actually unbeneficial as they would just unnecessarily use up more resources than needed when they run fine in 32 bit.

Hi pianista47, F-Secure Anti-Virus and F-Secure Internet Security products both support 32-bit and 64-bit version of Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8. When installed on 64-bit version of Windows, some of the components are 64-bit to provide best possible performance and protection for the user. We have investigated the advantages of having all components 64-bit, but we have not found benefits of having all GUI components 64-bit. Based on our assessment, it would not increase the performance or security significantly. Best Regards, Sami

Still not done, but almost there. Native 64bit has been talked about at it is in our backlog.
