Time to leave the Beta Program

Hi Folks,

I've not been active around these parts for some time now, due to other life commitments, so I feel it's probably time for me to leave the Beta Program.

I can't, with good conscience, continue to receive free protection from F-Secure when I am not able to be a fully active beta tester, so I will be reverting to the onboard Windows Security from now on, as my current beta licence has expired.

It's been great being a part of the beta testing team since 2011 (15 years!!), and I hope to still drop by the forum from time to time.

    Simon and NikK were (basically are) the most helpful and active users in F-Secure Community.

    And valuable members of the F-Secure community. Among other great people, of course (some of them are/were more about business-side / withSecure; and others are/were just with a little less years-in; or just stopped while they continued). Surely Simon has been (and remains) a great thing for Beta Program too.

    :( it was not nice when NikK stopped to appear. So,

    and I hope to still drop by the forum from time to time.

    that would be really great. Especially, when Community now with such a lovely people around (helping others and suggesting a rather many ideas and giving feedback). It would be wonderful if they continued to be part of the forum. And you, too, would have been a part of it.

    // just in case: I recently accidentally created an extra beta account. I'd happily give the license(s); after all, it would be a genuine "active" beta testing of a use case like adding invited guests to a subscription (and being 'Guest' in subscription). :) It appears to be valid (currently through March).

    After all this time you're still apologising for your English. 😂

    You yourself have been an outstanding member of this community, and you have helped countless people. Long may that continue.

    I just feel that I have other commitments now, as a full time carer, so I cannot devote time to this place, or to monitoring FS program updates, so I don't feel it would be right to continue accepting free use of the product.

    Of course, if @Ville or any other members of the beta staff team feel that my past contributions warrant cotinued renewal of the beta licence, I would gratefully accept, but I can no longer guarantee to provide feedback or visit the forum regularly.

    Simon, thank you very much for your many years of dedication and valuable contributions to the F-Secure Community and the Beta Program. Your help, knowledge, and commitment over such a long time have certainly been appreciated by many members.

    Wishing you all the very best for the future, good spirits, and many enjoyable things ahead. I also hope we will still see you around the Community from time to time.
