Vault not holding password changes - keeps reverting to previous passwords
Changed a password. Also changed vault password. One vault in PC, one in phone. These are synced. Have tried multiple times. Password in phone refuses to update and soon password in computer is back to what it used to be. Tried making changes to comment section in vault too, but same thing.
Now suddenly there are two same account, one with new and one with old data. Changed passwords of other accounts too, but they all work normal.

Hello @Kummastelija
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
To assist you further, could you provide the following details:
- The operating system version of both your PC and phone
- The version of F-Secure installed on each device
In the meantime, here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow to help resolve the sync issue:
Step 1: Choose your main vault
- Determine which device (PC or phone) has the most accurate and up-to-date vault information. Since the initial changes were made on your PC, that's likely the version you want to keep.
Step 2 (Option but recommended): Back up your PC vault
- Before making any changes, it is best to create a backup of your vault to prevent data loss.
Step 3: Disconnect the other device
- On your phone, temporarily log out of the F-Secure app, then uninstall it completely. This helps clear any corrupted or outdated data that might be causing the sync issue.
Step 4: Clean up the main device
- On your PC, remove the duplicate entry with the outdated password. Ensure that all other entries and your vault master password are correct.
Step 5: Reinstall the F-Secure app on your phone
- Reinstall the app on your phone by following the steps outlined in this guide.
Step 6: Reconnect devices from PC to phone
- This will sync your latest entries from your PC to your phone. Please refer to this step-by-step guide for detailed instructions.
Once confirmed, your phone will download and sync the correct vault data from your PC, re-establishing the connection. Both devices should remain in sync moving forward.
Kindly let us know how it goes or if you need further assistance.
Thank you and have a lovely day.

Win 11 Pro latest updates, Win 11 Home latest updates, Android 16 all updates
F-secure: latest version/updates in all.
It seems I managed to fix the issue before reading this by logging in to all devices simultaneously and copying the new password to all devices and to all instances of that password (of which there were three in the end after logging into all three devices) → So I saw that same account listed in password manager three times. Now when I log in, there is only one.
What still worries me is, I had updated that password maybe a month earlier but could not find that updated password on any device, so not really sure if problem is over and when it actually started.
