VPN does not have split tunneling and other points a knowledgeable friend made
See what a knowledgeable friend communicated to me just recently. I would appreciate it if someone from the Development Team commented on what is written below (note, I could use Split Tunneling).
"F-Secure doesn't have true split tunneling. ..
There is not any significant difference in privacy between VPN providers in terms of communication protocols and encryption algorithms. What matters, first and foremost, is do they keep logs that can be obtained by law enforcement. F-Secure keeps logs for 90 days. That would make it a non-starter for me. Indeed, F-secure is not highly rated in the world of VPNs.
The other important difference between VPN providers is how many VPN server points of presence they run. F-Secure won't publish a number, ostensibly because of "security", but that's nonsense as any competent cyber operation can easily detect and track those servers.
If you need VPN for any reason I can highly recommend Windscribe. It has true split-tunneling and many other features that can be handy. And they don't keep any logs that involve privacy related information."
Awaiting comments and feedback!
JJ
P.S. I have used products from F Secure often, but I am having second thoughts if what my friend wrote is true.

Here is a list of the current VPN servers, unless otherwise shown, there is only 1 server per country.

The Privacy policy can be found here, scroll down to VPN Features.
Their VPN does offer Website Bypass, which can come in handy especially if you're connecting to a banking site, so that you may not get a warning/notice from the website that you're using a VPN.
There are more robust VPN's, which also clear their/your data sooner. Something like Mullvad, Proton, Nord and Windscribe may be more of what you're looking for. F-Secure's VPN included with Total, is a nice addition and it worked great on my end, but it is somewhat of a mid tier VPN.
Over the weekend I purchased F-Secure Internet Security (no privacy, Identity protection) and will let my Total subscription expire. I don't access geo restricted content, so I'm now using the Cloudflare Warp app for a privacy tunnel.
I believe these (the ones shown) and others were automatically allowed to bypass (App bypass) the VPN for Windows functionality.
