automatic WLAN protection broken

Hi community,

since several releases automatic WLAN protection is no longer deactivated when leaving WLAN…it stays on infinitely.

Also when turning off VPN it says now that it will deactivate WLAN protection even though there's no WLAN connection - does that make sense?!?

Unfortuinately, in the current release it's even more worse…when turning on WLAN protection VPN is always starting if there's WLAN or not…

VPN is drowning my battery therefore I have to live without WLAN protection and remember to turn VPN on manually…this sucks…

What is the device environment of the F-Secure product (Win, Mac, Android, iOS) where the behavior you observed occurs? The latest version is 25.9 on all platforms. If it concerns Android or iOS mobile environments, it is worth sending the logs to support directly from the application and describing the behavior. For Win, Mac environments, the administrator usually requests the fsdiag file separately via PM.

in iOS/Android : open f-secure—>select "smiley" from top right corner→select app information, scroll down→select "send log",choose mail prog your using(describe the behavior)

In WIn/Mac: Wait community manager to send your PM for furher info to send the fsdiag files..

    Hi JOnes,

"choose mail prog your using(describe the behavior)"

To whom should I send the log? I checked F-Secure support for email address but they don not provide one…

How do I find "community manager"?!? …to send a PM?!?

    Thanks

OK, it seems that you have to contact F-Secure customer support directly first to get the address to which the debug data will be sent, it is admittedly a bit of a hassle but what can you do?

    • On earlier versions the email-address was automatically set
