Can we have access to Web Browser VPN Extensions?

Hi, sorry to be asking this question as I don't want to be a problem customer but I haven't been using my F-secure VPN service for a long time. The reason is that while I'm using my Windows PC I cannot have other Apps and services that are running in the background like my banking app and my work related tasks having their IP addresses changed as this would be breaking their strict rules.

It would be amazing if I could use one web browser that had a VPN extension running that would only effect that particular web browser and not any other Apps or services that are running on my Windows PC.

Having a VPN connection that effects my entire device is really making things hard for me 😥😥😥

Thank you for any help!

" We understand your concern, and you're definitely not being a problem customer! This is actually a very common issue that many VPN users face. You need a solution that allows you to protect your browsing without affecting other important applications.

Here are some options you might consider:

    1. Split Tunneling Feature: Check if F-Secure VPN offers a "split tunneling" feature(perhaps in the future). This allows you to select which applications use the VPN connection and which use your regular internet connection. If available, you could set it to only work with your preferred browser.
    2. Browser VPN Extensions: Many VPN providers offer browser extensions (for Chrome, Firefox, Brave etc.) that only route traffic through that specific browser. These are separate from the full VPN application and would only affect the browser where they're installed.
    3. Alternative Browsers with Built-in VPN: Some browsers like Opera have a built-in free VPN that only affects that browser's traffic.
    4. Contact F-Secure Support: Reach out to F-Secure customer support to ask if they offer these features or if they have a solution for your specific use case. They may have settings you're not aware of."
