How do I know if the scanning of threats is ongoing all the time or not?

    If you're talking about the onboard Behavior Detection, it will be shown in the UI as active (green check mark) in Protection Overview, thus confirming it is running in the background.

    If it's disabled, you would see this, as well as the main IU warning banner across the top of the app.

    If you wanted to check on file downloads, you could use the eicar or amtso tests.

    If you were wanting to check the Browser Protection, you can try this site. But also heed their warning, this is not a new in the wild phishing test website, but still always use caution and don't download anything from there…besides all of the links being blocked by F-Secure ;) :)
