Nowhere to sign out

There is no icon for my account in the top right hand corner (or anywhere else for that matter).
I can in fact not find a link anywhere in the community where I can access my own account, only my discussions. Ergo, I am unable to sign out when I’m done with the session.
Is there a workaround for this?
(I’m logged in via Safari on an iPad with OS 15.8.4, i.e. not able to protect it anymore with my valid subscription for F-Secure Total for three units 😠)

I’m signed in (since a few hours), which should be pretty obvious, as I’m able to type and post a question in this forum. The topic of this auestion is: I’m unable to sign out 😎
There’s no ”My account” icon in sight and nowhere is there a hyperlink to be found elsewhere to enable me to ”Sign out” or ”Log out” from the forum.

Here’s the easiest way to log out of community.f‑secure.com with Safari on an iPad (the same steps work whether you’re in landscape or portrait):
- Open the menu.
In the upper‑right corner of any page on community.f‑secure.com you should see your profile avatar (a small circle with your initial or picture). Tap it once. - Choose “Sign Out.”
A drop‑down panel appears with quick links (Profile, My Settings, et c.). “Sign Out” is at the very bottom—sometimes you need to scroll that little panel a bit with your finger if the list is long. Tap Sign Out. - Confirm if asked.
Safari may briefly reload the page. If you’re returned to the home page and the avatar is replaced by a generic “Sign In” button, you’re logged out.
If you don’t see the avatar:
- Make sure you’re on the main community site, not a support article in a separate tab.
- Try zooming out (pinch inward) in case the site is scaled and the avatar is off‑screen.
- Clear any Safari content blockers that might hide UI elements.
- Have you tried the ALL the procedure above ?
- Open the menu.

Here’s how you can “clear” (i.e., turn off or remove) content‑blocking extensions in Safari on an iPad or iPhone running iPadOS 17 / iOS 17. The same steps apply—only button names differ slightly on older versions.
1. Temporarily turn a blocker off (quick test)
- Open Settings → Safari.
- Tap Extensions (older iOS: Content Blockers).
- You’ll see every blocker‑app you’ve installed.
- Toggle the switch off next to each entry you want to disable.
- Changes are instant—re‑open Safari and reload the page to test.
- To restore blocking, toggle the switch back on later.
2. Permanently remove a blocker
If you decide you no longer need the app:
- Long‑press the app icon on the Home Screen or in the App Library.
- Choose Remove App → Delete App.
- Confirm.
- The extension disappears from Settings → Safari → Extensions and no longer affects browsing.
(You can always re‑download it from the App Store.)
3. Clear blocker rules Safari has cached
Sometimes Safari holds on to an old block list even after you disable an extension. A quick cache clear helps:
- Settings → Safari.
- Scroll down and tap Clear History and Website Data → Clear.
- This removes history, cookies, and cached files.
- It does not delete saved passwords or bookmarks.
- Re‑launch Safari and revisit the site.
4. Double‑check in‑page “Reader” mode
Safari’s Reader view also hides ads and some page elements:
- When on a web page, tap the “AA” icon in the address bar.
- If Show Reader is highlighted, tap it to exit Reader.
- This can restore UI parts that seemed to disappear.
Quick checklist when troubleshooting a site like community.f‑secure.com
Step
Action
Result
1
Disable each blocker in Settings → Safari → Extensions
See if the avatar/Sign‑Out button returns
2
Clear History & Website Data
Flush any cached blocking rules
3
Remove the extension app
Ensures it can’t re‑enable itself
4
Check Reader view
Make sure Safari isn’t hiding elements itself
After confirming the site works, re‑enable your blockers one by one to pinpoint which one was interfering.
