Bank Protection Unstable with F-Secure TOTAL version 25.3

Does Not Help to de-activate and then re-active via F-Secure App Bankskydd - Bank Protection (inställningar - Redigera Inställningar in Swedish) for ASUS E510 Win 11 Laptop

Maybe it's related to Device Protection 1.0.2503.5246 loop Install even today 2025-04-18 after following F-Secure Customer Support procedure via e-mail ?

    What do you mean by saying "BP unstable behaviour"? I'm using the same version and have not noticed any,maybe your should send the url of the "unstable" site you're referring..or just wait for the 25.4 update that should be released shortly

    We all are waiting,and hoping that proper testing will be done this time on ALL platforms(Android,iOS,MacOs,Win) also from vendor's side before releasing. Total + new VPN enchancements..We still remeber last year(2024) with same kind of VPN symptoms.

    In the meantime we can ensure that ALL basic updates on our devices are uptodate and the are no conflicting security programs and obscure apps installed.

    Today 2025-04-30 at ca 04:05 Bank Protection did Not Activate for Sweden Government PPM

    This happens for Bank and other Pension Websites which are Normally Activated so F-Secure TOTAL Version 25.3 Bank Protection is Unstable now and then.

    Going to Trouble Shoot some and later provide FSDIAG Zip File from the ASUS E510 Win 11 Laptop.

    Internet Browser Fire Fox used at ASUS E510 Win 11 Laptop with "Strikt" - Strict config incl. HTTPS-läge etc.


    Via Samsung S10 Android-12 4G smart mobile (Refurbished from year 2022 for 3.000 sek) is Bank Protection Activated for PPM, Bank etc. using F-Secure Safe Browser.

    Going to Check Samsung 5G Android-14 from year 2024 for 2.500 sek


    Kjell & Comp and El-Giganten has Refurbished Equipment so Old Products still Active within Mobile Systems and most of smart mobiles seams to be 5G

    I would suggest you to do following:

    1. Send samples of the urls/files you noticed banking protection is "unstable"'
    2. https://www.f-secure.com/en/support/submit-a-sample
    3. descripe clearly what do you mean by "unstable",my F-secure is the lastest(25.3) and i don't notice any problems with it on https://www.pensionsmyndigheten.se/ (win chrome,ff),does it happen only in mobile versions(Android,iOS)
    4. this is not usually an advertising or tips community

    Did un-Install and Install F-Secure TOTAL via F-Secure Tool, some Temp files might be the reason since Bank Protection works Ok now at least, so No FSDIAG zip file or files to F-Secure.

    VPN did Stop Working however that is sorted out !

    Samsung 4G and 5G smart mobiles (Android-12 and - 14) using F-Secure TOTAL Updated 1 Day ago but Not ASUS E510 Laptop still using Version 25.3 🤔

    One Web Site got Blocked and it might be some News Paper Reklam via Link since Pop-Up's are Blocked

    Yes,version 25.4 is somewhat unstable on ALL platforms and features ,waiting for the next 25.5 final release,hope fs protection beta group reports versatile and dev team corrects the rest,tired of sending fsdiag.zips

    In the meanwhile f-secure in "on the dock",

    Are you referring to the Recent Event's "Suspicious page change on website has been blocked" entries? Or did you see a pop-up or advertisement that caused blockpage and those entries?

    Or are pop-ups blocked on the sites mentioned?

    I do able to reproduce 'Suspicious page change on website has been blocked' event by opening web browser console (usually by F12 on keyboard) while there is an active banking protection session. And this is kind of 'current' feature for extra protection during banking. I have not encountered other reasons during my style of browsing, but I can assume that they may exist.

    In your screenshot, all URLs are mostly and likely bank-related ones. Dated to one minute. So, kind of based on one event like opening browser console. Or, as per your description, maybe blocked pop-up on website(?!).

    Ukko there was No issues - problems prior to F-Secure TOTAL Version 25.3

    Alla issues - problems came with F-Secure TOTAL Version 25.3 and Browser is Fire Fox set to Strikt incl. Block pop-ups !

    The Web Sites in the picure is Retirement Web Sites were You can change Your Fonds etc.

    Hundstallet did end up in the Event Log however F-Secure did State Version 25.4 is Fault and 25.5 is in Pipeline - på G . however when in Time is an other Ballgame.

    Donate money to Voffe - Dogs , some moths ago You could By T-shirt etc. but that Web Site is under re-construnction, in Sweden We also have Kattstallet with Webbshopp

    But what is the exact trouble now? I mean, the trouble with F-Secure Total or Banking Protection from your latest two replies.

    It seems I just can't reproduce the routine with receiving something wrong by visiting mentioned websites or using them (maybe just because of my browser's settings or entire set-up).

    The type of events in your latest screenshots may indicate that F-Secure functioning correctly; either by protecting against something in opened browser tabs via Banking Protection or some kind Web Protection modules. Perhaps, it could be unnecessary and kind of 'false positive' thing; but sounds that it clearly should be based on a certain action within certain page (while I did not understand if this is somehow related to blocked pop-up or strict mode of Firefox).

    Since all entries in Recent Events are mostly banking-related, I think there expected to be an active Banking Protection. While so - there are some extra protection features that may trigger some limitations or blocking some things (as being 'not fully secure' in their vision of protection during banking).

    Is there any trouble with functioning of mentioned websites?
