Can Freedome help with iPhone 4 & iOS 7.1.2 security issues?

You cannot update iPhone 4 to iOS 8, so iOS 7.1.2 is the end of the road for the device. There are some security issues you need to deal with and accept, e.g. with the WebKit of iOS 7.1.2. Can F-Secure Freedome help making the iPhone 4 safe(r) even if not updated to iOS 8? Does it give protection against attacks exploiting the outdated iOS vulnerabilities?
