Regarding the issue where the virus scan stopped at 51% for two days, there may be something causing the scan to get stuck. Could you let us know if you were performing a full computer scan or scanning a specific folder? Additionally, could you share your scan settings? A screenshot would be very helpful.
As a suggestion, you may try scanning specific files or folders by selecting "Choose what to scan." For more details, please refer to this guide: Running a virus scan manually
Regarding the VPN disconnection issue on your macOS, could you confirm which server and VPN protocol you have selected? Have you tried switching to a different server or protocol? One possible solution is to disable the Killswitch feature and check if that helps. My VPN is stopping me from logging on to my MacBook, it takes half a minute or so since this new update, everything has got a lot worse, I think I'm having more problems messing around trying to get F-Secure Total working than actually doing anything on my Computer, I'm getting very depressed about F-Secure Total bit by bit it's stopped working, first the Virus Scanning stopping at 51% for 2 Days, I've reinstalled changed settings etc… no change. Then now the VPN keeps turning itself off and stopping my internet connection until it can make VPN work, like I said I'm spending my Computer time trying to make F-Secure Total work, I've sent several FSDIAG's to you no change after 9months, it's really just gone downhill very quickly

Is F-Secure working on any Apple MacBooks out there because I've never seen one comment of someone saying "F-Secure Total " it runs a dream on my Computer, I won't buy it again, I'm too old to be trying to do the settings that shouldn't be wrong in the First place, that's why we pay you lot, but your Product isn't working the only bit that works is the F-Secure page, very very sad it used to be faultless until Ventura then it's got progressively worse, more parts not working. Sadly no explanations or help, just send a FSDIAG then we are looking into it and nothing.

Did that nearly a year or so this has been going on, had my phone checked at Apple, my MacBook checked at Apple they said you don't need VPN or Virus Protection, then I requested it to not be renewed and they renewed it, so here I am over a year later different (new) phone and new MacBook and same problem but I was told they will get it sorted in one of their updates that was 5-6 updates ago and I'm still here same problem. The only thing that's not new is the pater these lot come out with, never again, as soon as it runs out I'm stopping the money at the Bank, but thanks for your suggestion mate 👍️

Sorry to hear your problems with MacBook/Iphone.My Macbook with latest MacOS (15.3.2) and Latest F-Secure(25.2) + active F-Secure VPN there's no problems whatsoever.In order to get yours working you could run the support tool and send it to F-Secure support for analysis.(settings—>support—>Open support tool)
The correct email to send the debug materials you'll get from F-Secure customer support
With Iphone you could send logs if you encounter problems with latest iOS version(18.3.2) and F-Secure 25.2

I've tried for hours to send FSDIAG through the link sent and the file appears in a Misty faint page and will not let me select it so I'm just stuck as what to do as I only get time in the early hours of the morning, my Total worked fine until Ventura, the next Apple update it stopped working and has never done so again, I've just had enough of coming across things that won't work, every time it's F-secure, either the VPN not letting my phone online until I turn it off and on again, then this manual scanning issue has been going on since then, I'm just tired of not being able to do anything on the computer apart from try and sort out F-Secure, you don't know how lucky you are my friend.
