F-Secure SENSE Router End of Life (EOL)

F-Secure is ending support of the SENSE Router version 1.x on December 31, 2023.

F-Secure SENSE Router was first released in 2015 and sales of the device ended on October 26, 2020. As F-Secure focuses on other ways of providing connected home security and working with partners to integrate solutions into popular WiFi routers, maintaining F-Secure SENSE Router is no longer a feasible option.

What does this mean?

This means that after the end-of-life date, all security features in F-Secure SENSE Router will be switched off. The device will continue to work as a normal router, although we recommend that you replace it with a newer router model.

What do I need to do?

We recommend that you disconnect the router after the end-of-life date and recycle the hardware according to your local recycling rules.
