Sense protection with additional wap/switch / power lan behind it

in F-Secure Sense

hi,

 

the wireless connection from the sense to my iot device is to weak, so i have to place a wap between them. will my iot device , in this case a doorbell , still be protected or less as it won' t be abel to recognize and categorize the iot device correctly? the same would be for a switch or power lan behind the sense with attached iot at the other end.

    Hi Koron,

     

    Browsing protection works without device identified as IOT device. In future, this would prevent anomaly detection working, you would need to categorize wireless access-point as IOT device and devices behind that would be grouped together.
