SENSE and ransomware

Because SENSE analyzes the network traffic can it protect users from ransomware like TeslaCrypt, CryptoLocker etc. before they can do any damage to files and encrypt them? I suppose so, but I'd like to know for sure.

Sorry for not getting back to you earlier.

SENSE will protect you against all known ransomware the same way as it is explained eg. in the CryptoLocker threat description article.

 

And we have an additional layer of protection: known malicious websites serving ransomware may be blocked too.
