Any way to actually test the sense

Hi 

I installed Sense, which was quite an effort (at least 3 factory resets required, bluetooth issues, etc), but I managed finally get it to work.

 

Now since it was quite the effort I want to test if this box is able to detect some threats (so that my box is not broken). So I need a safe way to test if this thing works as promised. I tried to download simple EICAR -file, and endpoint Sense AV detected that but I cannot see any report of it in the sense app. Sense app does not report any threats, not even tracking. So naturally I am wondering if my Sense device is working right, endpoint av is working but still no proof from the sense box. How to test, without infecting my whole system.
