Sense and VPNs

in F-Secure Sense

Is it possible to combine Sense with a common encrypt VPN (such as ExpressVPN, NordVPN or for that sake, Freedom). To me it does not make sense, but I do not have any  deeper knowledge in these matters. OS X and iOS. I presume that the apps do create a VPN of their own to function. Am I rigth?

    You cannot configure vpn directly to sense so that all devices connected to sense would go through vpn.

    But you can use any vpn app for example on your pc and go through that vpn and sense to internet.
