Issue:
When I try to log in to my My F-Secure account, I'm being asked to enter a code. What code should I put? Will I receive it via mail from F-Secure?
Resolution:
Mostly likely, it is prompted by a 2-step verification you had set up earlier. If you have a third party authentication application in use, such as Google Authenticator, you should be able to create a code with the app.
Another option to gain access is to have back up codes created from your My F-Secure account. The QR codes are created during setting up a 2-step verification and should have been saved on your device for further use. Those recovery codes are the back-up access to your account. If you do not have these recovery codes, you will be unable to access your account and it is not possible for F-secure to provide you such recovery codes as they are individual for each customer.
If you do not have these recovery codes but you still have a valid subscription, you can contact customer support and a new account will be created for you with the same license period.
Note: You will have to re-install all devices from your new account.
