Are you using the latest version of Freedome(2.28)? If yes, please check for and install any pending Windows Updates. You can then try the following steps to check whether the issue still reproduce.
1. Open Freedome 2. Click Settings 3. You will see "use automatic killswitch to cut off internet connection if the VPN connection is disrupted" 4. Tick the box to enable automatic killswitch and click the Allow the connections to other devices in trusted network 5. You can now select the "network adapter name" i.e Ethernet LAN or WiFi adapter
