Locking your Windows Mobile device remotely

If you have lost your mobile device or it has been stolen, you can lock it remotely to prevent anyone from using it. This requires, however, that you have set up the remote Anti-Theft. Locking the device


To lock your lost or stolen device:

  1. Send the following SMS message to your device:
    #LOCK#<security code>
    (Example: #LOCK#abcd1234 )

The locked device can be unlocked only with the system lock password.
