How a Solution Provider can enable Computer Protection in the
F-Secure Computer Protection is now available. With the new release, Computer Protection will eventually replace the Workstation Security clients within Protection Service for Business (PSB). During the initial stage, we have given Solution Providers (SOP) the ability to enable Computer Protection for their child accounts. Below is short guidance on how to do this.
To enable Computer Protection for your child accounts:
Click Computer Protection is available at the top of the PSB portal home page. A pop-up appears with details of what is new in the new client.
Tick the box I accept to proceed.
Click Enable Computer Protection for all companies.
The progress is shown until Computer Protection is enabled for all your accounts.
Click Close to close the pop-up.
Once Computer Protection is enabled, the companies under your account see the following:
Under Downloads, the Computer Protection download button for Windows is visible.
The profiles for the new client are under the Computer Protection tab in the Profiles section.
Note: Existing key codes for Workstation Security can be used for the new PSB client.
