Windows' User Account Control (UAC) prevents Booster from launching

Windows' User Account Control (UAC) prevents Booster from launching, and "This App has been blocked for your protection" error message is shown. This is a known issue. To solve this issue, download a new Booster installer and perform a simple reinstall (in-place upgrade).

  1. Download a new Booster installer here.
  2. Run the installer. A setup window appears indicating that the program is already installed.
  3. Click OK. The installer detects a new version available for download.
  4. Click Yes, and allow the reinstallation to complete.
