Follow the steps below to uninstall and reinstall Freedome. To Uninstall F-Secure program from Windows: Click on one of the links below that fits your version of Windows. Click Have a code? to activate using a subscription code, and enter your code; OR Click Login if you have a subscription with F-Secure Total or other providers, and sign in with your credentials.

If you have MacKeeper anti-virus software installed on your system, its Memory Cleaner feature can cause issues with Freedome. Disable or remove MacKeeper to make sure it is not the cause for the connection issue.

I lost/forgot my F-Secure FREEDOME VPN code
If you have lost or forgotten the subscription code for your F-Secure FREEDOME VPN, do one of the following:
If you bought the F-Secure FREEDOME VPN product from F-Secure eStore, contact F-Secure support. To speed up the recovery of the subscription code, have your email address (used when you bought the product) or order reference number at hand when contacting our support. If you bought the product from a local reseller, contact your reseller. If you have purchases from Apple Appstore or Google PlayStore, you do not get any code. You can activate the purchase by installing it from the store and choosing 'return purchase'.
If you have installed the newest version of FREEDOME installed, and you activated your code on that version, you can get the code from the program.
Open FREEDOME Go to Subscription Click Show Subscription code
NOTE: You cannot get the code even if you have newest FREEDOME version, if the code was used before the update.

Freedome asks for renewal even though license is still valid, re-entering license key gives "This key has already been used on this device".
F-Secure FREEDOME may be malfunctioning.
If you get this error on your Mac computer, a removal of the keychain after uninstallation is a possible fix. Follow these steps:
Open Finder. Go to Applications. Move Freedome application to the trash, and empty it. Open Spotlight and remove the following folders: ~/Library/Application Support/F-Secure/ and /Library/Application Support/F-Secure/ Install Freedome using this installation file. Activate your subscription from the Subscription page.
If this happens on your Apple iOS device, re-install Freedome and re-enter the key. Transfer licenses, if necessary.

How do I see which F-Secure FREEDOME code is active on my device?
To verify your F-Secure FREEDOME code/key on any device, simply follow the below steps:
Open F-Secure FREEDOME. Click on Subscription.
Show Freedome Account ID (for iPhone) Show subscription code (for Android) Show my current subscription code (for Windows, Mac)
Note that this does not apply to F-Secure TOTAL. For TOTAL, users can manage their subscription from My F-Secure portal via the FREEDOME tab.

Why there is no internet connection when Freedome is turned on?.
Try to reset the DNS cache on your devices. For Windows: Open the command prompt as an administrator. Click the Windows start button > type "cmd" > Right-click Command Prompt > Click Run as Administrator. In the Command prompt, type the commands below. After each command, press Enter to execute.

You can restart your machine and check again. If the above steps do not help, the issue might be that your firewall is blocking the connection. If that is the case, you need to change your firewall settings to allow the connection. Our Android, Windows and macOS products use the OpenVPN protocol. The ports for Android, Mac, and Windows are:
TCP/UDP ports in the range 2700 - 2800 TCP port 443
Please allow traffic on these ports in your firewall and try to connect Freedome again.
