so slow

in F-Secure VPN

Hej When I download a movie without vpn activated it takes 3 minutes ... With  vpn activated - several hours is this normal??

    Can you tell us how is the movie downloaded? You could be using one of the location listed on this article.

     

    Did you try changing location? Do these slowness appear constantly?

    My internet speed literally drops by 25 to 30% with vpn turned on. Off it's 115 mbps down and 30 mbps up. When I turn Freedome on, it drops to 23 mbps down and like 4 mbps up. I am using USA Southeast. Is there something I 'm missing? I just went all out and purchased the annual 7 license then I found this out. I'm thinking I should have kept testing vpn's. Hoping it's just a configuration issue on my end. Ideas?
