Will Freedome Render my Software Firewall and AV pointless?

Hi all! My first post in this forum! 

I recently purchased F-Secure's AV solution for my laptop which I also have LittleSnitch 3 running as a software firewall. To further bolster my security I was considering going for Freedome. However I'm concerned that if I was to use Freedome it would mean LittleSnitch would be pointless when defending my laptop to the internet as all the data passing through it will be encrypted. Or is it? Would Freedome decrypt internet traffic before passing it through to LittleSnitch? I am aware that LittleSnitch will still be protecting me from threats on the LAN that I am on.
