A network layer issue was fixed at this gateway site on Thursday morning (2016-03-10 04:10 UTC). A malfunctioning device was removed from the network. It was affecting mostly IPSEC (iPhone, iPad) clients, but also Windows, OS X and Android clients to a lesser degree. It was causing quite specific packet loss in the evenings, under high load, and it was challenging to find the issue since it did not affect ICMP ECHO pings without the VPN, for example - it was just dropping the VPN packets, and was not reporting that it was doing so.
Please try again, it should be quite a bit better now. We're sorry it took this long to sort it out.
