No connection from China

in F-Secure VPN

I have a friend to whom I referred to try Freedome - he's on a trip in China. He is telling me that the app is unable to connect, while other VPN apps do fine.

Are you aware of this issue? Is it possible to connect from China at all?

 

He's using a Xiaomi MI3 Singapore Edition.

    Not exactly sure if there are any limitations regarding which country you connect from.

    Does he get any kind of error message when trying to connect?
