IMDB language is set by my actual location despite Freedome

For some reason IMDB has started using translated movie names based on your location. Even with Freedome on they detect my actual country location. It also happens regardless of my browser language. Is this unexpected?

Windows 7 64bit.

    Hello Timaeus,

Did you log in IMDB? If so they get your location from there.

It could come from previously saved cookies on your device.

You could also try clearing your cache or using private browsing/incognito mode.

Thanks, but no removing page history doesn't help, and I also use BetterPrivacy cookie remover etc.

It would be helpful to know if this happens to others also.

    Hello Timeaus,

Did you already try using private browsing?  Are you logged in IMDB?

Also depending on your browser you might be affected by Webrtc. Please refer to this article to check it.

I have this same problem. Despite installing WebRTC blocking add-on to Firefox.

Found the solution. You have to change the request header language options on the browser.
