Starting from Freedome version 2.7.1, Freedome has been unable to
connect to any of the locations. This seems to happen more on WiFi networks
than with mobile data.
Freedome started to use IKEv2 protocol with version 2.7.1 on devices
running iOS 10 or later. This is an updated version of the earlier IKEv1
Some older routers, modems and firewalls may not support IKEv2
protocol, or they may have been configured not to pass IKEv2 protocol through.
If you're experiencing this problem, please check your router, modem and
firewall configuration to see if that could explain the issue.
Starting from Freedome version 2.7.2, you can also switch back to
IKEv1 protocol in case you can't use IKEv2 in your network.
You can switch back to IKEv1 by opening the
Freedome menu, then
Settings, and turning off the "Use IKEv2"
