Freedom IPv6 on iOS problems

in F-Secure VPN

Any suggestions on how to use IPv6 on an iOS/iPhone?  Freedom can't establish a connection.  It blocks emails, web browsing etc.  I'm trying this on link.nyc which is a free public WiFi in New York City.  

I contacted link.nyc and this is what they said:

"Our network is running on IPV6 for our network addressing, so I recommend checking to see if your preferred VPN is compatible with IPV6 traffic or if your VPN uses IPV4 in which case the traffic will not be able to pass through. In such a case, you will have to wait until your VPN adds IPV6 capability or find a VPN that uses or translates to IPV6. "

    Hi peterw,

     

    Freedome does not support IPv6 on iOS. That is the reason you are unable to connect in that network.

    Thanks for the response Laksh.  Do you know if there are any plans to support IPv6 on iOS devices in the future?
