What platforms does the F-Secure SENSE app currently run on?

The SENSE app for F-Secure SENSE has several functions within your SENSE network; among others, the app is needed to set up and configure the SENSE router. The SENSE app also adds an extra layer of protection within your SENSE network for those devices that can run the app.

The SENSE app currently runs on the following platforms:

  • iOS 9 and later;
  • Android 5.0 and later;
  • Windows 7 (SP1) and later (32 and 64 bit); and
  • macOS 10.10 and later.

Note: For the set-up and configuration of the SENSE router, the SENSE app for either an Android or iOS mobile device (iPad 2 is not supported) is required.

The SENSE app for Android provides an additional layer of protection and is available for an unlimited number of Android devices with your subscription.

The SENSE app for Windows PC, as well as for Mac also provides this layer of protection with the limitation that you can only install the SENSE app on up to 25 devices in total. This means either 25 Windows PC devices or 25 Mac devices, or a combination of both up to the 25-device limit; for example, 20 Windows PC devices and 5 Mac devices. If you happen to exceed this limit on your desktop devices, or have any other questions on this topic, please contact Customer Support.

The SENSE app for iOS can only be used for set-up, monitoring and controlling the SENSE router, and is therefore only needed on one device.

Note: The availability of the security features for F-Secure SENSE varies by platform, and the features available also depend on whether you are at home in your home network or on the go.
