Re-pairing Sense

Re-pairing Sense

I need to pair my Sense unit to my iPhone again, but do not want to have to re-acquire the 25 devices it is currently protecting. This was discussed previously here:

Is there any update or work-around that has solved this problem ??

Re: Re-pairing Sense

If you use same SSID and Password then you don't need to re-pair your devices. So you can safely perform hard reset for your Sense router.

I have done this few times and all of my devices always connected automatically.

Hi @Jhoufek

You can pair SENSE with your iPhone again but take note of your old/current SSID (WiFi name & Password) as you will need it again. Once pairing is completed, ensure to use the same SSID & Password as before, all the devices will auto connect and you will not need to reconnect all 25 devices to SENSE.

Hope this addresses your concern.

Re: Re-pairing Sense

Ok. Per Sense App instructions for pairing, opened app. Disconnected power cord. Waited 2 minutes. Plugged back in. Waited for front panel to pulse before holding blue button on back. Display of four little squares never pulsed. Finally went to time display. Repeated procedure, same result. How do I get the display to pulse ??

And the hard reset will not require me to re-pair my IoT devices ?
