I received a report from the F-Secure Identity Theft Checker. It disclosed that there has been a breach, but does not disclose the service that was breached, why?
There are several reasons for the service to not be disclosed:
It can be that the breach in question is part of an ongoing law enforcement investigation and revealing details of that breach may compromise the investigation. Until those are resolved it remains as undisclosed. Sensitive sources where the content is categorized as sensitive for the affected users. A combo list is typically a compilation of multiple breach datasets (datasets from multiple different breaches, data dumps etc), made into one giant list and openly shared in the dark web. In this case the source information can simply be lost

I compared the results between F-Secure Identity Theft Checker and Have I Been Pwned. Why is the end results are very different?
Each vendor has varying methods in collecting and recovering breached data and leaks. One vendor may communicate a specific breach and associated breached information differently when compared to another vendor. There are events where F-Secure recovered specific breach data gets categorized differently than what other vendor is categorizing them.

I have manual renewal on my My F-Secure account. How can I change it to auto-renewal?
It is not possible to convert a manual renewal account to an auto-renewal one in advance. You can choose to change your account to auto-renewal when you are doing the payment for the next subscription period when deciding the amount of licenses and/or license period. Only then can it be changed. You can always cancel an auto-renewal, though. Please see these instructions: https://community.f-secure.com/t5/Common-Topics/How-do-I-cancel-my-subscription/ta-p/108369

How do I release an F-Secure SAFE license so I can use it on another device?
Log in to My F-Secure. On the My F-Secure page, select a member that you want to release a license from. Underneath the member, you see a list of protected devices. Click on a device that you want to release a license from. This brings up a window with basic details about that device. Click Release license. This frees up a license that you can now use on another device.
Note: Removing a license from a device does not uninstall F-Secure SAFE from that device. To uninstall F-Secure SAFE, you have to do it manually from the device.
