Question I just bought a license from F-Secure eStore but Mobile Security claims that the license is about to expire. Why? Answer This  happens probably because you have used a trial version of the application and subscribed to the full version when the trial period was expiring. For the trial period a unique subscription key was generated. After the trial, you have to enter the subscription key that you received when buying the full version.   If you purchased the license from other sources, a new subscription key was generated. The Mobile Security application is still using the old subscription key, so you need to activate the application with the new subscription key. You can do in the following way:   Open the application. On the lower part of the user interface, tap Subcsribe. The Subscription window is shown. Tap Enter key, enter your key and tap OK.

Question I started the application, but the application registration fails with a message telling “e-mail already in use”. What should I do? Answer The F-Secure campaign allows a user to create only one account per user. The account is tied with an e-mail address. The same e-mail address cannot be used twice as it is used as username during the login phase. In F-Secure SAFE, you may purchase additional licenses and manage existing licenses for multiple devices. https://mysafe.f-secure.com/login is the portal for license management. Question I registered with F-Secure SAFE but the application on my device shows different expiration date. What should I do? Answer The F-Secure SAFE application gets the new extended service period as part of the registration process. If you did not click Finish or the process was interrupted somehow, the new service period might not have been updated. Question I started the application, but I did not finish the registration. I would still like to get the full free service period. Can I register somehow later again? Answer Yes. Open the F-Secure SAFE application and go tothe Subscription view which has options to Buy or Enter a new key. By clicking Buy, the registration page will open again. Answer The F-Secure campaign is targeted to the Nordic countries and therefore registration from other countries is not allowed. You may register as an F-Secure SAFE user directly through http://www.f-secure.com/safe. Question Can I use the same license with another device? Answer The license is device-specific. You cannot use the same license in two devices at the same time. If the same subscription key is used when activating a new setup, the license is transferred to the new setup. You can transfer the license to another phone up to three times. After three transfers the subscription key will no longer activate in a new device.   The subscription is also verified during the reputation update check. If you are using the same subscription key in two devices, the subscription key will be locked to the last device after three updates.
