Question I get the following error message: "Unable to transfer subscription to this device". What should I do?
Answer This error message is displayed when the update server cannot authenticate the subscription with this device. The reason for this authentication failure is that there have been more than three attempts to move the Mobile Security installation and service subscription to another device. After three device changes, the subscription will not activate in a new device. If you need to transfer the subscription more than three times, contact support.
Question What has happened to My F-Secure Portal?
Answer My F-Secure Portal has been discontinued on the 30th of May 2013. The closure of the My F-Secure Portal has no effect on any of our products or any of your subscriptions. The closure of the My F-Secure Portal has little to no effect on most users. The only difference is that the button My F-Secure is not accessible anymore from the navigation.
