Re: Will f-secure safe support for windows 7 end at same time as microsoft support windows 7 ?

Hello,

Sorry for my reply. I am only an F-Secure user (their home solutions).

Thus, my own unofficial feelings only:

I think that there can be extended support. For example, articles about Windows Vista and Windows XP:

-> https://community.f-secure.com/t5/F-Secure-SAFE/End-of-Windows-Vista-support-for/ta-p/92278

-> https://community.f-secure.com/t5/F-Secure-SAFE/End-of-Windows-XP-support-for-F/ta-p/80636

are about different states. But it was with extended support anyway.

Maybe actual/current F-Secure SAFE build/version is pinned to its own EOL policy, but likely that it is around major changes like operating system support end.

More likely that Windows 7 support can be dropped only after 'incompatible' changes (fresh set of features or so); but possible to suspect that - to use unsupported (declined) OS is not recommended (and partly risky).

Thanks!
