Virgin Media subscription question

Hi,
I have been paying for my subscription but have just joined Virgin Media who have offered me "It's included FREE for 12 months protecting up to 5 devices, worth £79.99. No upfront costs and then just £25 a year."
Can I apply this to my next renewal date or perhaps get a refund for the current year and apply it now?

Kindly note that if you already have an existing F-Secure Safe subscription for Virginmedia customers, you are not eligible for another free trial.
If you have been issued a completely new account with a separate email address, then you may be eligible for another free 12 months.
