Yes I did try chat. The bloke I chatted to was unable to assist me. He suggested I go to the enhancement  page https://community.f-secure.com/t5/Feature-Requests/idb-p/Idea_Exchange which I did. I logged a suggestion: https://community.f-secure.com/t5/Feature-Requests/Subscription-renewal-popup/idi-p/100439.

 

Hopefully F-Secure does something to solve this.
