Locked out of nokia n8 series

Hi ive forgotten my code and have tried upteen times to unlock it. I cant remember the ph no. So cant send sms. Would formating work? Or do I have another choice? (I gave up and ph has been in a draw for 6-12mon. Hope someone can help. Its an awesome ph despite its age.:)

    If you have forgotten your phone number > look at phone invoice, it should be there.

    This Nokias model N8 is using Symbian-operating system and there is no support for Symbian. It is over. Have you another phone? A new model? In smartphones are very popular Android and Windows-operating systems nowadays.
    Nokia and many other producers have fine & modern smartphones and so called basic models.
