How to remove Safe from my kids Samsung Galaxy 6?

How to remove Safe from my kids Samsung Galaxy 6?

I noticed that Safe does not work in my kids Samsung Galaxy 6. All seemes to be ok, however kid is surfing in the Youtube for hours without any limitations jumping on.

Once again same problem that with previous ScreenTime application! Useless software, in the end of the day. Smiley Sad

Now I truly want to remove Safe totally from my kids phone. I tried to change the user, but can't log in to kids phone Safe: it tells now that MY user licence cannot be confirmed, please contact the application provider. Well, there was no anyone answering my questions on chat so here we are.

Safe is removed from my phone, but how to get it totally off from Samsung Galaxy 6?

Hello,

I am only an F-Secure user (their home solutions). Sorry for my reply!

I tried to change the user, but can't log in to kids phone Safe: it tells now that MY user licence cannot be confirmed, please contact the application provider.

Maybe good to know it was try via "application" or via browser and "My F-Secure Account" portal.

But, by the way, your F-Secure SAFE subscription(?) was via Google Play Market? Or it is purchased via their (F-Secure) online store?

Anyway, to uninstall F-Secure SAFE with activated kids profile - indeed need to change appplication's user from "kids profile" to "main user profile". And then to use common "Uninstall" flow.

Chat is available on current minute (or did you mean that their response was not useful?):

But, in general, """"it tells now that MY user licence cannot be confirmed"""" is happened after your try to switch user from "kids profile" to "main user" (type email/password) from F-Secure SAFE user interface? Does there any options about this dialog / output?

Just as discussion about general concern.

Once again same problem that with previous ScreenTime application! Useless software, in the end of the day

Probably, indeed. But only if to use F-Secure SAFE as "parental control" application.

In fact, there are some benefits of security solution like F-Secure SAFE.

But, all in all, most of security solutions for Android can be useless if user want to bypass it (or if user does not care about device usage).

There are some "known" ways to trick F-Secure SAFE and avoid restrictions. Some of them are possible to fix by main user (need to configure some points or to tune up); another ones are limitation of current platform(?) and valid for many applications that build their design based on it.

In fact, F-Secure Android team tried to improve situation and some things got better.

So, if it is known how it was possible to surfing Youtube for hours - then good to reach their official Support and to inform about it:

Community with some examples of topics where discussed, at least, three ways to do so (most popular ones). Maybe your experience is about one of them.

Did you manage to understand whether it is happened by own steps? Or just F-Secure SAFE is not configured right (for example, if you got device and wait for time limits / restrictions - it is OK? But then it was possible to surfing in the Youtube for hours?  Since what if installation was just somewhat broken)?

Otherwise, good to explain that "limitations" are only reminder about agreements. And it is not need to bypass them or "trick you".

Sorry for my English!

Thanks!
