This

is a recent development and occurs some, but not all, of the time.  It usually happens within about five minutes of the operating system having loaded.  Your helpful advice on how to fix this tedious problem will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

Thank you, Laksh, for your timely reply!  The passive SpywareBlaster Version 5.2 is installed on my local machine, so I shall uninstall it and then attempt the uninstall-reinstall procedure your recommended for F-Secure.

I uninstalled that other malware program, then restarted my local machine in Safe mode, then uninstalled F-Secure, then restarted the machine, then reinstalled F-Secure.  So far, so good!  Thanks again, Laksh, for your help!
