Browsing Security - Green check marks gone with F-Secure 2013

Since I updated to F-Secure 2013, I have noticed that I no longer have green check marks next to safe websites while browsing.  I think that there used to be an F-Secure button in the toolbar too, which is gone.  I use Firefox version 19.0.2.  (My update was done by uninstalling 2011 and doing a clean install of 2013.

I'd like to restore this function as I found it useful but can't see how to do it in the settings for F-Secure.  Does anyone know how I can get it back?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi, can you tell exactly when those green marks are not displayed? (e.g. searching through google).

And, also, make sure, that firefox doesn't use https protocol when you expect to see green(or any) marks. That's due to new design of browsing protection, as it now uses, to say in plain text, http based filters and not browser plugin based ones, as they were not usable on different browsers and weren't fully compatible with new released updates.

Thanks for the reply.  I used to have them when searching through Google.  I imagine that it's just the new design in action as the website warning still works.  For some reason it didn't like AVAST.

    Hi johnf17,

Newer version of Firefox search page is using https,  you may change your Firefox homepage to http://www.google.com and try with the search, the green check marks should appear again.

    Best regards.
