in F-Secure Internet Security

Hi all,

I'm using F-Secure IS 2011. I got this message real-time (no manual scan or scheduled scanning on) :


Virus found. Removing...

Adobe Help.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Help
Trojan.Generic.6993620

 

 

I have Adobe Creative Suite 5 and the Adobe Help has been installed with that.
I've been using that program for a long time.

 

 

Is this a false, is it safe to remove from quarantine?

    Thank you Ben,

    Today I took the file from quarantine and performed a scan, and with the newest updates (2011-12-02_03) it came out clean. Yesterday when the file was informed as a trojan, updates were 2011-12-01_05.

    I quess it's worthless to submit a sample anymore, or is it?

    Thank you for your fast feedback on the situation.

     

    The detection you faced was indeed a false positive. The updates you mentionned seem to have solve your problem so it is not of high relevance at this stage to submit a sample anymore.
